With more than 20 years of experience within the water sector in Europe, the US and the Middle East, René has an extensive international track record in the public and industrial water markets. Furthermore, he has an in-depth knowledge of clients, competitors and market drivers, as well as a solid experience with client development and an established network within the water business.

Key role in global growth ambitions

As Executive Director, René's responsibilities will focus on strategic management, global market and client development, and he will be heading Water’s efforts within global project sales. He will hence play a key role in obtaining Ramboll's international growth ambitions within water over the coming years.

Rene holds a B.Sc in Environmental Engineering from the HAS University of Den Bosch, the Netherlands and an executive training at the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
